Chloe Moss
​Captain of Ridge Dance Team

Chloe Moss has been an enthusiastic member of the Ridge Dance Department since her freshman year. During her time at Ridge Dance, she has taken full advantage of the amazing programs the department has to offer such as Dance II, Ridge Dance Team, Ridge Dance Collective, and Treasurer of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. She is so excited and grateful to be a Co-Captain of the Ridge Dance Team for the 2023-2024 Season, and the life long friendships she has made in the program. She feels so incredibly grateful for the Ridge Dance program, as it has created a safe and creative environment for her throughout her high school years. She has developed critical life skills through the program such as collaboration, respect, loyalty, and responsibility. She is so excited for what is to come this season and to dance her heart out at these final two showcases and take in every moment. She hopes to continue her dance journey beyond high school, and hopefully pursue law or real estate! ​

Alyssa Urschler
Captain of Ridge Dance Team

Alyssa Urschler has been a proud member of Ridge Dance since she was a Freshman and is now a Senior. She has been a part of the Ridge Dance Team, Dance II, and NHSDA as a co-social media coordinator. This year, Alyssa is beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to be a co-captain of the Ridge Dance Team! She is excited to work hard with her teammates and create a connected family that will act as a strong foundation throughout the season. Alyssa feels that she has made so many amazing friendships and memories that she wouldn’t have created without the department. For her, Ridge Dance is a place where she can express her love for dance in an environment that Mrs. Miranda has so thoughtfully curated. Being involved in Ridge Dance has encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone and try new areas of dance that she never thought she would seek. She is grateful for the kinds of experiences the department has provided her with as a dancer and for the life lessons she has learned through it all. Alyssa is looking forward to all of the exciting events that this season has to offer and can’t wait for her last season as a member of Ridge Dance to be the most memorable one yet :) She is excited to be dancing with such talented dancers in the upcoming showcases and competing in dance competitions this season. Anya da Silva
Captain of Ridge Dance Collective

Anya da Silva has been a dedicated member of the Ridge Dance Department since 8th grade. She has been a part of Ridge Dance Collective and the National Honors Society for Dance Arts since then. Last year, she was the secretary of NHSDA and a choreographer captain for RDC. This year, she is lucky enough to be the Ridge Dance Collective Co-Captain! She is so excited for this role, as she is so grateful for everything that Ridge Dance has given her these past 5 years. She has made amazing memories and friendships that she will cherish forever. Dancing with the Ridge Dance Department was an amazing experience, and Mrs. Miranda’s guidance played a major role in how much fun she had. Anya is so excited for her final year dancing alongside some of her best friends, but is also sad that her Ridge Dance career is coming to an end. She encourages everyone to join Ridge Dance, as it was one of the best decisions she could’ve made!

Eva Cahill
Captain of Ridge Dance Collective

​​Eva Cahill has been a part of the Ridge Dance Department since seventh grade, and as a senior has been involved in Ridge Dance Collective, Ridge Dance Team, Dance II, and the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. She is so excited to be a Ridge Dance Collective Co-Captain this year and to continue being a Ridge Dance Collective Choreographer Captain again this year as well. She is so grateful for all the opportunities that have been given to her through Ridge Dance and for all of the friends she has made through the program. Eva cannot believe this is her last year in the program and she is so excited to see her last two showcases come together! She believes this year is going to be bittersweet, but she plans to keep dancing and is so excited for what the future holds. She encourages everyone to find their family at Ridge, like she has found hers in Ridge Dance. ​​​

Alyssa Kim
​President of NHSDA

Alyssa has been part of the Ridge Dance Team and Collective since her freshman year and has been in NHSDA since junior year. She is so excited to be President for the 2023-2024 NHSDA school year! Since her time at Ridge, Alyssa has taken all dance curriculum classes and has received an Honorable Mention from the NDEO and NHSDA organization for Hip Hop. She started dancing at the age of 3 and cannot imagine a life without dance since! Ridge Dance has given her amazing new friends and unforgettable opportunities. She is looking forward to her last, wonderful year with the Ridge Dance family and cannot wait to take on every new endeavor! Go Ridge Dance!

Gabriella Gross
Treasurer of NHSDA

Gabriella Gross has been a member of Ridge Dance for five years, as a senior she is very grateful for the opportunity to be the co-treasurer of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. She has been involved in extracurriculars within the department, such as Ridge Dance Collective, where she has been a choreography captain for two years and a member since eighth grade. Gabriella truly appreciates the welcoming and loving environment that the Ridge Dance Department offers. She cherishes the friendships and memories she has made through Ridge Dance. She is proud to say that Ridge Dance has had an everlasting impact on her life today, not just as a dancer but as a person. Gabriella is very thankful for the opportunity to have such a wonderful program at Ridge, and she is very grateful for Mrs. Miranda’s invaluable support. As a leader, she is honored to be a part of the department at a higher involvement level, she is grateful to be able to learn the behind-the-scenes work through the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. She hopes that the legacy of Ridge Dance will continue for many generations and will only grow from here. The message of the department spreads beyond just dance, Gabriella will take these valuable lessons with her even after her time at Ridge High School. She looks forward to performing in the showcases with her friends for her last year at Ridge!​​

Anna Nelson
​Secretary of NHSDA

Anna is a member of the Ridge Dance Team and the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, and she is so excited to have the opportunity to be the secretary of NHSDA! Anna is incredibly grateful for the Ridge Dance Department, as it has given her a supportive community and friendships that will last a lifetime. The welcoming and friendly environment of Ridge Dance has allowed Anna to become a more confident dancer, and she would not be the dancer and person she is today without the department and Mrs. Miranda’s support. As a leader, Anna looks forward to inspiring the other dancers in the program and building a strong dance department that will last for many years to come. 

Rebecca Lipset
Vice-President of NHSDA

Rebecca Lipset has been a part of the Ridge Dance since her freshman year, and now, as a senior, she is extremely grateful to be vice president and social media coordinator of NHSDA! Ridge Dance has offered her so much as she continued throughout her high school career. She is not only appreciative of the dance opportunities she has received, but also the friendships she has made throughout the years, which she knows will last a lifetime. Ridge Dance has helped Becca become more confident in her dancing because of the open and loving environment. She is proud to have also been social media coordinator for NHSDA last year, a member of Ridge Dance Collective and a choreographer captain for the large group hiphop team number. She is super excited to be vice president and social media coordinator this year because she knows she will be able to connect with her fellow dancers and spread the love of dance throughout the community. She loves using social media as a positive platform that showcases the values of Ridge Dance. As a leader, Becca is looking forward to getting more involved with Ridge Dance throughout the behind the scenes of National Honors Society for Dance Arts. She is thrilled to have this opportunity to inspire other dancers in the program to be confident and passionate about their dancing, just like Ridge Dance has done for her. She is looking forward to the showcases and RDT competitions that are to come.  Ridge Dance has truly shaped Becca into the dancer and person that she is today and it will be a memory she carries with her even after leaving Ridge. She cannot wait to have one final competition and performance season with her best friends on RDT. GO RIDGE DANCE!

Sneha Sridhar

Sneha Sridhar has been a part of Ridge Dance since she was in 8th grade. Throughout her time at Ridge, she has been a part of Dance 1 in her freshman year, Ridge Dance Team and National Honors Society for Dance Arts since her junior year, and Ridge Dance Collective since the 8th grade where she has had the honor to be choreographer captain twice! Sneha is so thankful for the department because it really brought her closer to dance, gave her so many new friends that she would have never met if it weren’t for Ridge Dance, and made her high school experience so much more memorable. Ridge Dance allows Sneha to step outside of her comfort zone and try new things she would have never done before. She loves working both behind the scenes and on stage and is so grateful that Ridge Dance provides her with these opportunities. She is also looking forward to being NHSDA Treasurer and working closely with Mrs. Miranda. She can’t wait to see what the future of Ridge Dance holds! ​

Ana Salles
Secretary of NHSDA

Ana Salles has been a member of the Ridge Dance Department since 8th grade. Throughout her 5 years of involvement with the department, she has been a part of Dance I, Ridge Dance Collective, Ridge Dance Team, and the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. Ana is very excited to be a NHSDA Co-Secretary and to spend the rest of her senior year dancing with her best friends. She is so grateful to have found a safe space in Ridge Dance and she will always remember it as one of the best things she was a part of in high school. Ana plans on studying film and media/communications in college. She will be forever grateful for Ridge Dance and hopes everyone can be part of a community like it.

​Laurel Zumbach has proudly been a part of the Ridge Dance program since 7th grade. She first joined the Ridge Dance program in WAMS through Ridge Dance Collective. Since then she has been a part of the Dance 2 class, a Social Skills Dance Assistant, Ridge Dance Collective choreographer captain, WAMS Dance Collective dance captain, and new member of NHSDA. Having joined from a young age she is happy to say that Ridge Dance has shaped who she is and helped her find some of her best friends.

Saliah Hartmann

Saliah Hartmann is a part of Ridge Dance Team, Ridge Dance Collective, National Honors Society for Dance Arts, and has taken the Dance II and III classes. She first joined the program in eighth grade and is currently a junior. She is so excited that she has been given a leadership role as Webmaster this year. She is so grateful for the community she has found within Ridge Dance. Saliah's high school experience would not be the same without Ridge Dance and she is so glad that she joined this department. She has grown so much as a dancer and as a person thanks to Ridge Dance. It has helped her further her love and passion for dance as well as learn to step out of her comfort zone. Saliah appreciates all of the opportunities and friendships she has gained through this program and can't wait to see what this year brings!
